Where's Lincoln?

Look how cute my boys are!

I know its been forever since I posted but now I have some super cute pics so I just couldn't resist.

John and I went out with Lincoln and played photographer. I had a ton of fun. John not so much but both John and Lincoln were troopers. We started at the union station. That must have been our practice run cause not too many turned out. Then over to the Timbermine. (Thanks Mandy for the idea) We loved the pics there. Well we didn't stop there, off to the fruit and veggie stand. Nope not done yet, up to Ogden canyon. Well after hundreds of pictures taken we did end up with a few we loved. Using a tripod isn't the easiest way to take family pics but it definitely the cheapest.

Lincoln's birthday !!!


Well the big day finally came, actually it was the night. We came to the hospital (Davis) at midnight 8.11.09, got all checked in and settled in the room. Finally got the potossin at about 1:45. at 4 am the doctor came in a broke Morgans water, she was dilated to a 4 at that point. about an hour later she got an epidural, smooth sailing after that, she finally got some sleep. at 6:30 the nurse came in and checked her; It was go time! They called the doctor. and he checked her saying "shes ready call me when the baby is crowning". well he leaves the room and the very next contraction the nurse says "go call the doctor" just 10 pushes later and we have a beautiful baby boy! 8lbs 13.5 oz 22 inches long ! 7:26 am.

so basically 5hours and 45 minutes, that's the exact time for labor that I guessed, but Morgan seems not to remember that conversation, oh yeah I was only a .5 ounce off on his weight too.

Welcome to our family

Evelyn Taf was born 7/7/09. She was 7.8lbs and 20 in long. She is so beautiful! It makes me so excited for when Lincoln gets her. He'll have a best friend just his size.

Freedom fun!

The fourth was a blast. We started out day off with a little game of golf with Brad and Mandy at the Barn. It was our first time out golfing this year and John did pretty well for being rusty. For myself lets just say ill stick to softball. So I guess Mandy is like a professional golfer now or something like that. She kept giving John crap throughout the game so these pics are just hilarious. (I guess your character on the golf game isn't the only one a little top heavy)

Getting ready for the little guy

Tues we went to another OB appointment. It was great beacause we got another ultrasound and found out that he is 4lbs. That scares me a little with still having 8 weeks to go. Johns really hoping for a 10 pound baby. I told him he is crazy. This pic is of his face. Its a little hard to see but use your imagination.

We also set up his crib on Tues. I love it. I cant wait till our little guy is here and gets to try it out.

So funny!

So john came up with this idea to put a Calvin peeing sticker on Mandy's car window over her precious Phoenix Suns sticker. Well lucky for us we have a key to their house. So we broke into their garage like criminals(it was intense) and put this sticker on.

Now we wait.......... Will she see my blog or notice her car first? We'll have to just wait and see.

Mean dad : (

So John decided to take Rogue(our dog) with him on a ride to pick up another load from the house. He put both Rogue and a dolly in the back of the truck. When John came up to a stop light he tapped on his breaks and the dolly slid forward. Well Rogue being the brave dog that she is decided to jump out the side of the truck instead of taking on the dolly despite the fact that John was going 30mph. Fortunately she only rolled 4 times and walked away with only scratches, but the dogs life did flash before Johns eyes. Needless to say I think John has learned his lesson on putting movable parts in the back with Rogue. (note the big chunk missing from her cheek)

House sold!

So this weekend we are finally moving out. We were lucky enough to sell our home in just 4 weeks in hopes that John gets a new positions soon. Its all a little scary not knowing whats in our near future plans. Will we be having the baby here? Where will we live? Do we buy or rent where ever we end up going? Who knows. Lynda has been nice enough to let us shack up with her while we figure things out.
